Il presidente Ciampi dalla Cina ha lanciato un appello affinchè venga sospeso l’embargo delle armi deciso a suo tempo da UE e USA dopo la strage di Tienanmen. La stessa UE adesso promette di impegnarsi per rimuovere l’embargo, mentre il premier cinese Wen Jiabao scalpita chiedendo misure immediate.
Ancora Ciampi interviene al forum del made in Italy, organizzato a Shangai da Confindustria e l’Istituto per il commercio con l’estero, auspicando la nascita di una forte partnership tra le imprese italiane e quelle cinesi che fanno così tanta gola.
